Asian Chickpea & Rutabaga Curry w Champagne Pickled Shallots
Influenced by Southeastern Asian spices and Northern Indian Chana Masala - this fusion will silence anyone who believes vegetables can't supply the same level of comfort than meat centred dishes. We use local sweet potatoes and rutabaga (a cousin of turnip) to provide a sweet balance to the rich coconut broth. Finished with flaked almonds and quick pickled shallots - this is a complete dish for dark nights.
